Oh boy!

I'm having a really hard time sticking to weight watchers right now and for the last like 3-4 weeks. I think I've probably gained a pound or two back. My mom will be down in a week and I'm hoping that she will provide some inspiration. My will power left awhile ago.

On a plus side I have been working out. on Saturday I went to a body pump class and now it hurts to walk. I will go again on Wednesday to the same class and then try and make it 2 more times to just do cardio on the treadmill or one of those other machines.

On another subject, today is the last day of the 3rd grading period at school and Lucas might actually get straight A's!!! It'll be the first time in a while(maybe ever) that he's done this well and a big change from him having trouble earlier this year. So we told him if he gets all A's we would get him a small reward, probably a new game. I don't normally like to reward for grades but he really improved a lot from last quarter and I do think it's a big deal and hard to achieve with 8 classes total.

Me on the other hand, I'm still behind in my Sociology class. I'm heading down to the library here in a bit to get a copy of the book I've got to read then write a 1500 word paper on it. I still have 3 other smaller papers to write and one last quiz on the last 4 chapters in the text book (of which I still have 2.5 chapters to read) Shhh..... don't tell Luke I'm behind, LOL!!!!

Finally.... a new post

I know , I know....
Anyway, here I am and I have a couple of pictures to share. First up is the second part of the one I posted a few post back of Hunter on his first bike... well this is one of him riding without training wheels for the first time!!! He has now graduated from that little one to one that is a bit larger and more size appropriate. I know the picture isn't the greatest but you get the point.

This was at my good friend Amy's son Ewan's birthday party. The kids all had fun and even were brave enough to pet the alligator. That's Hunter's hand reaching in from the side.

This is a picture of how Stella likes to check on the dogs. She likes to make sure they are doing OK and also likes to feed them cookies through their door. It's a perfect size and height for her little body. She will also use this way to talk or yell at Hunter if he's outside as opposed to opening the 'big' door.

This a cowboy Hunter at our friend Matthew's birthday party. He didn't smile until he got off. He was on serious business while upon that pony. He might've had some mail to deliver.....

Happy Easter!
The kids got baskets from the bunny and we've pretty much done nothing all day but laze around and relax.

Those darn apple dumplings!!

I weighed in today and I am down another 1.2 lbs for a grand total of 11lbs lost. I probably would have done better if it weren't for these little beasts! I made them while I was 'off the wagon' and Andrew loved then so much that he has been making them and they are soooo hard to resist, impossible infact! Go ahead and make them, they are really easy. You'll be hooked too, I promise!

Chicken fat

So this is how a conversation between myself and Hunter went:

Hunter: What is that yellow stuff your taking off?

Stacy: That's fat. I'm cutting the extra fat off the chicken.

Hunter: Why is there fat on it?

Stacy: That's how people and animals store extra energy. Like, if they eat more energy than the body needs it keeps it for later.

Hunter: Oh! .... Dad has lots of energy!

Stacy: {laughing} yup!

I don't know how

but I'm down to 146.8 lbs! I ate awful this past week and had small gains the 2 weeks before that. So I am down a total of 9.8 lbs!!! I am back on the wagon and will be counting my points again. I hope to have another larger loss this week because I am losing momentum on this weight loss thing. I need gratification, instantly!

I have a ton of pictures I want to put up but I also have homework and that is more pressing right now whilst Stella naps I can actually get some done.

Ta Ta for now!!!
